there has to be a better and faster way to clean the bottom of the angel fry tanks. for the first 10 days or so the fry are to small to get out of the way and get sucked up. need some kind of sponge with airline tubing running through it some how so you can clean and vac at the same time. any thoughts on this anyone?

I use airline tubing and put my thumb over the end when fry come near to stop the flow. Alot of people use a turkey baster to clean the bottoms of there fry tanks I hope this helps.

i am talking about the grit that seems to accumulate on the bare bottoms of my grow out tanks. a single tube just takes to long in a 15 or 20 gallon tank. needs something with some that covers more area and still not suck up the fry. i'll figure it out sooner or later.

i start the fry out in a 5 gallon then they graduate to a 20. i believe it was you who advised me to move them to a larger tank on the angelfish web forum. sound advice because they stopped dying almost as soon as i moved them. it sure did not look that crouded to me in the five gallon. but i am new to angels and willing to listen to experiance. wipe it clean that sounds to easy. i'll try it.
